Marriott?s believe their success begins with it?s associates. The company believes that their associates are a great asset, and recognizing all the associates for their hard work, and creating avenues of growth and career development for them, are all part of the associate-centered environment.
In keeping with these values the St Kitts Marriott Resort held it?s Annual celebratory event to say ?Thank You? to associates for their outstanding performance and significant contributions during 2011. This year?s celebration took the form of a cocktail reception, dinner and dance for all associates.
To ensure that associates enjoyed the night to the fullest, roles were reversed, and the Managers took the place of bartenders and waiting staff, while the Executive Committee members had the additional duties of being the welcoming committee, master of ceremonies and hosts.
The awards were divided amongst three groups and with each group having a final winner for the year 2011. Associates were nominated by their managers and peers throughout the entire year.
