Grand Parade Day was fun even after the sun went down

Once again, the annual Grand Parade did not fail to deliver on New Years Day.
Starting as always from Patsy Allers Playing Field, the onlookers from who live in NEVIS REAL ESTATE were anxiously awaiting the passage of the large parade, and expressed their obvious excitement.
As the Grand Marshall, who heads the parade, began making his way along the Grand Parade, the streams of color began to flow.
The parade was led by the ICCS Majorettes, and continued with Inferno?s Bailamos troupe, followed by Splash?s Color in Fantasy and Solid?s Life Unleashed.
Of course, no Grand Parade would be complete without the involvement of the Calypso Monarch, reigning Miss National Carnival Queen, reigning Miss Haynes Smith and the Junior Calypso King.
For almost six hours, all the players went into downtown Basseterre to the party zone and, although the fun ended just about 9:00 pm., tomorrow would be the day the winners of the street activities would be announced.
