Monroe College Offers Information to Perspective Students

Monroe College held an information session at the Red Cross Building on Wednesday, hoping to inform interested parties about obtaining a college degree.
Keja Nichols, Director of Admissions at Monroe said that their mission is to let Nevisians know about the institution?s degree programs and learn more about Monroe College in general.
Nichols explained that students living in NEVIS REAL ESTATE FOR SALE who obtained at least five CXC subjects can apply to the school and could be accepted. Passes at CAPE and Associate Degrees from CFBC would count as credit towards an individual?s degree, she added.
?The family atmosphere you get a Monroe college is different from any other school. As an international student, when you leave your home and you go to New York, some people think that New York is such a big metropolitan campus, I?m going to get lost. The classes are never more than 20 students. The ratio of teachers to students is 1:20 so the teachers know exactly who you are. If you miss your classes they will come to your dorms. It?s a family atmosphere for students and we applaud students that do well,? she said.
